Dr. Lance McQuillan grew up in many places throughout the west, but calls
southern Oregon home. He attended college at the University of Utah where he
enjoyed biology classes and skiing. After college, he went to Wisconsin for
medical school. He met his wife Katie – who was a fellow medical student – at
the Medical College of Wisconsin. Lance and Katie did their intern year in
Redding, California. Following Internship, they moved to the Portland/Vancouver
area so that Lance could continue his residency in Family Medicine and Katie
could do a residency in Pediatrics. Lance enjoys many hobbies, including hiking,
mountain biking, snowboarding, camping, and many traditional sports. He also
enjoys woodworking and appreciates the fact that he still has all his fingers
(no power tools are allowed post-call).
