One-third of American adults are obese, and there are more than 30 obesity-related medical conditions, from cardiovascular disease and diabetes to musculoskeletal issues and respiratory conditions. At the Southwest Weight Loss Surgery Center, we offer surgical alternatives for the treatment of morbid obesity.

We offer both laparoscopic gastric bypass, the adjustable gastric band surgeries and the sleeve gastrectomy.  All are minimally invasive and allow a fairly quick return to work and life.

We’re here to help. The Southwest Weight Loss Surgery Center provides a full complement of support staff to help you along the journey to lasting weight loss. As a regional center for bariatric laparoscopic surgery, our surgeons have been the first to bring these advanced procedures to the Northwest.

Teamwork makes a difference. With more than 40 years of combined surgical experience, you can be assured that our team of specialized surgeons along with nurses, dietitians, psychologists, and insurance coordinators will help you every step of the way.

We can help you get your life back. The average patient can expect to lose 100 pounds at one year after surgery. Patients enjoy the effects of weight loss surgery, but our primary goal is improved health. Many pre-existing conditions may improve dramatically or disappear completely after the excess weight has been lost.  With a combination of surgery, exercise, dietary modification, and participation in support groups, you will have the opportunity for a new and healthier life.

If you are approximately 100 pounds overweight and if other methods of weight loss have failed, it may be time to consider weight loss surgery.

Meet our bariatric (weight loss) surgeons.
